J2EE-Java Developer
Essential to have:
- Strong core Java and J2EE (3 years+ preferred)
- J2EE Application server experience: WebSphere, Weblogic, Oracle AS etc.
- ORM experience: Hibernate, JDO or Castor.( Hibernate preferred )
- MVC experience eg. Struts, Spring MVC. (Spring MVC preferred over Struts)
- XML and related technologies
- JSP, JSTL, Tag libraries
- Eclipse and/or WSAD
Very nice to have:
- Spring framework (Very highly regarded! )
- IBM WebSphere 5.x
- Knowledge of J2EE and OO Design Patterns
- BPEL, BPM and/or Workflow experience
- Oracle 10g AS/JDeveloper
- Apache Tomcat
- JMS (IBM WebSphere MQ 5.x)
- SOAP, Web Services, SOA
- Good awareness and knowledge of Open Source tools: eg. ant, XMLBeans, Jakarta Commons,
- Unix or Linux background
- Any design experience highly regarded (eg. UML modelling tools)
Personal Profile:
- Able to contribute new ideas and solutions, not just follow direction (* Very important)
- Very good communication skills
- Self motivated and results driven
- Strong team player
- Good lateral thinker,
- Genuine interest in and passion for software/application development.
The ideal candidate will have Spring, Hibernate and WebSphere 5.x experience, with some exposure or awareness of BPEL/BPM. |
