Angry Birds miffed over Microsoft miscue
微软 竟然 没经过 愤怒的小鸟 公司的同意 就把愤怒的小鸟图标放到了 win 7 phone 的广告 上面
小鸟公司非常愤怒:我们还没打算做 win 7 phone 版本的
The folks behind Angry Birds are a bit, well, angry.
It seems Microsoft was a bit hasty in posting a website indicating that the popular game was among those headed for Windows Phone.
The folks at enthusiast site WMPoweruser spotted the icon among a list of apps that are coming to the phone operating system, which is set to be unveiled tomorrow in New York.
In a Twitter post, however, Angry Birds creator Rovio Mobile said that Microsoft had overstepped its bounds.
"We have NOT committed to doing a Windows Phone 7 version. Microsoft put the Angry Birds icon on their site without our permission," the company said.

A Microsoft representative said that the website was not supposed to be made live and that the Angry Birds icon was included by mistake.
Rovio Mobile said on Twitter that Angry Birds is coming to Android this week and added that its Windows Phone plans remain to be seen.
"Time will tell, only thing we said that we have not committed to do WP7 yet, we don't like others using our IP [intellectual property] without asking," the company said in response to a user's question on Twitter.
"We could do a WP7 version of Angry Birds, not the issue," Rovio Mobile also said in a separate tweet. "We have not agreed to do that (yet). Will support all relevant platforms."
