I'm just wondering do we have any PMP certified people here... If you don't know what I'm talking about www.pmi.org Personally I think it's time to start transforming my career from technical to managerial, and it seems getting PMP certified is the best way to go at this moment. However I would like some peer advices since I've seen so many IT professionals here. I guess it's a topic that many of us had thought about, talked about, and wondered about. Personally I feel a move towards management level positions is inevitable and should be tackled with an active attitude. Of course there will be a glass ceiling. We have to crack it by ourselves, caus no one can do that for us. Especially if someone is already in a managerial position please do not hesitate to offer some advices...I believe many people here will benefit from it besides me.
