Product Manager-Data Communications (based in SYD) Huawei Technologies is a hi-tech corporation headquartered in Shenzhen China, involving the services on telecommunication technology. Huawei specializes in R&D, production and marketing of communications equipment, providing customized network solutions for telecom carriers in fixed, mobile and data communications networks. With total sales of US$3.83 billion in 2003, Huawei has achieved a substantial growth upon previous year's sales. With the rapid growth and expansion globally, we are now looking for high caliber individual to join us for mutual development. Main Responsibilities: • To work with Account Manager on the planning of competitive strategy including business plan and action plan, based on the business opportunities and threats • To carry out Data Communications (Routers & LAN switch) products’ pre-sales activities by responding to RFI, RFQ, RFP, preparing and delivering technical presentation and demonstration to customers • To Market of Huawei Data Communications products, including network concepts and solutions • To carry out all Data Communications product promotion related activities Requirements: • Possess at least a Bachelor's degree in the Telecommunications or related field of studies • Minimum 3 years of experience in the Data Communications environment. • Solid technical background in telecommunications network and data communications • Hands-on skill and knowledge on data network. • Good planning and business presentation skills. Able to work well in a fast-paced changing environment • Excellent team spirit with good communications and interpersonal skills. • Possessor of Huawei’s HCIE/HCSE /HCTE/HSNE/HCNA or roughly equivalent Cisco’s CCIE/CCNP/CCNA is desirable. • Ability to converse in Mandarin or Cantonese will be desirable. |
