今天接到OQU的通知邮件，有for engineer的OQP开始报名，见下： An opportunity for overseas-qualified engineers…. Holmesglen Institute, a successful Melbourne-based training provider, in conjunction with The Overseas Qualification Unit, is inviting expressions of interest for the following program: English for Engineers - A transition to employment course for overseas-qualified professionals. Successful participants in this course will gain the knowledge, skills & experience that will enhance their possibility of gaining future employment in Australia. The course consists of a fifteen-week classroom based course, in addition to a five-week practical placement in industry or business. The course will focus on the following: a) English Language needs of participants; b) Cultural orientation; c) Occupational Health & Safety procedures; d) Employment application processes & the work environment; e) Orientation to work in Australia; f) Computer Aided Drafting (CAD).
