Don't think it's a disadvantage, it's actually an advantage for Chinese:

(1) DOn't worry too much about your English. They know who you are, they know what to expect. Also because of on phone, you can ask more 'pardon' (but make sure use different words everytime, such as sorry, say it again, I didn't get it, can you repeat?) it all acceptable. Thinking you may need to ask any way when face to face, it's less embarrasing over the phone.

(2) Make yourself confortable and relax so you can concerntrate. You can be nacked if you wish. Thinkng you have to wear ties when face to face and believe me you would find it very unconfortable then.

(3) Keep a bottle of water handy. Drink (do't make noice" when you are nervous. Nobody can see you.

(4) Questions can be anything, but more important it's normally not technical at all as they know your technical ability from your CV. It's often more about personality and life experience. Be prepared of some nice stories. Be prepared of some 'real' (sound like real) examples of how you resolve a problem or personal issues.

(5) Try to talk as you can, don't stay on reactive. Butkeep a good balance of listenning and talking.

(6) Make sure you got their name correct and make sure you address them correctly and clearly everytime or once a while during the conversation.

(7) Say thanks to all individually at the end.
