ROLE DESCRIPTION:

This role exists as part of the Sydney unit of a global financial company, a group that is responsible for development, implementation and support of exchange trading systems.

Generic Responsibilities:

•        System and requirements analysis, documentation and review, working both internally and with client requirements.
•        System design and documentation
•        Programming and unit testing

Technical Skills:
•        3+ years development experience
•        Strong Object Oriented programming skills
•        Strong Visual C++ and knowledge of Windows Visual Studio
•        Knowledge of UNIX and Linux

Behavioral Skills
•        Analytical and methodical
•        Structured work approach and ability to work under minimal supervision
•        Self motivation and initiative and the ambition to contribute through effective communication with management and team members
•        Team player

Desirable:
•        Financial Industry experience
