请教各位前辈，我该如何准备赴澳找工作和生活呢？？？

本人的情况如下

男，28岁，国内本科计算机专业毕业，入行5年，来日本软件开发2年多，在日本各大公司的项目都干过，例如日本HP，NEC…,最近主要从事java,struts,j2ee的开发,vb,以及.net的活也干过，主要coding多，设计少一点。有oracle master silver 的认证, 日语2级，跟日本人交流没问题，英语亚斯（7,7,7.5, 7），口语7分，跟前女友（美国人）交往过半年多，不是太深入或抽象的谈话也能应付。打算明年年初长登澳洲，有几个问题想请教前辈们。

1．        哪个城市IT的工作机会比较多？Mel会比SYD少很多吗？
2．        职业定位，以我的背景，选择什么职位，工资会比较高呢？
3．        如果做developer的话，需要之前考java的scjp或scwcd来证明实力吗？工资大约有多少呢？
4．        会日文的话，会有优势吗？比如说找在澳洲的日企
5．        考toeic（商务英语）有用吗？或是有什么其他的认证对找工作呢？
6．        在sydney较好的区，租一个生活交通比较方便的条件可以的2居室大约多少银子呢？

还有不到半年，想去了澳洲能比较顺利的过上稳定的生活，提前准备一下，请前辈们多执教，谢谢。

我也是做J2EE开发的，个人意见：
（1）悉尼工作机会多。
（2）java和.net都有需求。以你的背景，定位在senior developer比较合适。
（3）证书不是必须的。我有SCJP/SCWCD/SCBCD，有用的地方在于通过入门考试。
（4）没有看到有日文的优势。
（5）不了解。
（6）不了解。

单为了找工作的要求，楼主亚斯成绩已经很高，没必要再读英语课程。更何况还交过老外MM，英语交流应该没有问题了。

楼主工作经验已经足够，工作不会难找，只是时间早晚，收入高低的问题，通常楼主的水平，半年内可以找到份50刀每小时以上的工作。日本的工作经验作用不大，日语也不会太有用处。反而是英国和美国的工作经验，在这里比较看中。

至于房租，生活费， 楼主不用考虑这么多， 你有工作的话，这些都是小问题了。过来享受生活就是了。可以先找个share的地方住上一段时间， 等自己熟悉当地环境了， 就会知道自己要住哪里了。

墨尔本和悉尼工作机会都不错，当然如果希望尽早找到工作， 悉尼是首选。

如果楼主没有任何java方面的证书，建议在这半年，随便考一个，用来当敲门砖很不错。

找个离火车站进的地方，300块的周租金能够搞定

如果从project team member做起的话，能拿到55k，做到team leader能拿到80到90k
做ABAP developer 起薪就有75k，ETL developer 能拿到90k

Mel 的工资没有Syd高，

不过都应该没有日本工资高吧。
先找一个公司做，再往这边的中介投简历，有了1年左右的本地经验再跳，估计会不错。


ps: 请不要问我那些专业术语，俺都是从网上搜到的，自己也不懂。

hi, it is so easy for you to find job here.
the best way to do it is to contact agent and trade as company. you can get lot of tax benifical.
But do not expect to be millionaire here.

谢谢各位前辈的建议，我大体有数了，打算先去考个java的认证，我没有sap的经验，估计
ABAP developer，ETL developer没戏，日本这边情况一般，工作时间太长，所以考虑移民，不过这边税少。关于楼上说的避税的问题，能具体说一下吗？是说不要直接入工作的公司，通过中介找活儿吗？这样一来岂不都是contract的工作？会不稳定吧。

Yes. Register as a sole trader and you can provide software products or services just like a company. Then, you can claim a lot of expense of your home as tax deduction, because your home is your office. There may be some other benefit, but that's only thing I know.  

But as a beginner in OZ, I reckon a permenant job may be more helpful, given that you may buy property and appy for home loan soon.

I need to clarify something about company. The sole trader does not work very well as a limited company. they have many tax benifical difference and limited company has much more advantages than sole trader. Of course, one the other hand, a limited company is more costly to maintain. do not worry the contractor is not stable, as long as you are confident and you do have lot of experience, you will find jobs anywhere. If the market is getting worse,no matter permenet or contracors,  you will lost job anyway because you are new in that company. some contractor company is also called contracotr management company or umbrella company, like ITG (www.myitg.com) or css (i forgot the web site). they get commision for your salary and they do the payroll service to you. if you come from oversea, you probaely can get some tax free money, which is called living away from home. sometimes, the living away from home is as much as 260 per day.
If I am agent, I like to recruit you because you bring profit. If you can not find umbrella company which make you happy, contact me.

其实说好，也还没有到直接去 USA的能力，毕竟要先有H1-B 签证。

但是澳洲这两年经济不错， 工作机会多。 楼主的工作经验在澳洲找工容易些而已。

是呀，从日本去美国一样不容易，况且费了好大劲拿到澳洲永驻，不去可惜了。。。

I do not know how USA is better than AU. From the job hunting web site, I can see there are not much difference on the salary. There are  more competitions in USA than AU.

是哦，美国比澳洲只会更不好混。毕竟很多清华北大的尖子生们都驻扎在那里。

还有，一般developer 的工作会有几轮面试？刚才看了足迹里一个IT大虾的帖子，好像7轮才ok,真是让人心有余悸，日本最多2，3轮就搞定了。
