Julian Ingram, 37, appeared at Lake Cargelligo Local Court, about 600km west of Sydney, on December 3 over allegations he stalked, intimidated and assaulted his ex-girlfriend Sophie Quinn, 25, and damaged her property.
Court records, obtained by the Daily Mail, show he pleaded not guilty and was granted bail on the condition that he report to Lake Cargelligo Police Station every day.
He was ordered to abide by an apprehended violence order police took out against him on behalf of Sophie, banning him from contacting her and going within a 100m radius of her home or workplace.
Records also show Ingram was a known domestic violence offender at the time, having pleaded guilty in 2021 to assaulting another woman in Griffith.
He was physically inside the courtroom in December when his bail was extended.
About seven weeks later, he allegedly shot Sophie dead in a black Suzuki Swift with green P-plates on Bokhara Street, alongside her boyfriend John Harris, 32.
Sophie was due to give birth to her son, Troy, in March.
