Our client; one of the largest telecommunication group, are looking for Senior Radio Network Planners/Designers to work on a large 3G rollout project. This involves, planning, analysis, dimensioning, high level and intrinsic design, fine tuning and optimization to testing and agreement/s.

Responsibilities:

·        Deliver Client order fulfilment by ensuring that the quality of the planning and design services fully meets or exceeds customer expectations.
·        Act as a Team Leader on design projects and assignments
·        Oversee the resource management function by providing accurate vision effort and time estimates for their tasks.
·        Work as part of a team to implement and establish a design process based on systems engineering principles.

Requirements:

·        Minimum of 4 years WCDMA radio design and optimisation experience
·        Solid experience with GSM and/or CDMA radio design and optimisation experience.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Position Title:        Cellular Radio Optimisation Engineer
Responsible For:        Radio Network Performance and Design within a Geographical Area.
Reports To:        Regional Network Performance and Operations Manager
Supervises:        May supervise graduate engineers for training perposes.
Main Activities:        ·        Improve customer experience of network by improving performance in assigned area.·        Analyse statistical data and network drive trials to identify performance improvement opportunities and implement them.·        Conduct network drive trials as required.·        Conduct BTS site selection and design in assigned area.·        Design and implement cell repeater installations.·        Contribute to regional network plans.·        Respond to customer complaints.·        Provide level 2 support for operations staff on radio network issues.
Key Skills:        ·        Expert knowledge of cellular radio network optimisation techniques.·        Understanding of UTRAN or CDMA based radio technology.·        Ability to use cell planning and drive test tools.·        Good IT skills including MS applications and GIS tools.·        High degree of flexibility, including some AH work.·        Good communication skills.·        Drivers Licence.
CaPeR Accountabilities        ·        Key statistical performance indicators for area of responsibility.·        Quality and timelyness of site design.·        Response to customer complaints.
Internal Contacts:        Other engineering teams, support and operations teams.
External Contacts:        Hutchison Australia and Hutchison’s customers on 3 Network. Other minor vendors.
Authorities:        ·        Site design and redesign within budget.·        Interface and relationship management of customer.·        Comply with company Occupational Health & Safety requirement.
Typical Experience:        2 years plus cellular radio network optimisation in an operator environment.  Other experience in radio system design.  Relavant tertiary qualification.

本人到时干过GSM BSC很多年，对UMTS RNC也比较熟悉，只可惜不是ERRISON且在墨尔本
