Perth, Australia -- October 10, 2008 -- Last night, "The Most
Valuable Cake in the World" was revealed at an exclusive VIP
Cocktail Party at Cupid's Delights cake gallery.
Cupid's Delight, a renowned market leader in the creation of
couture cakes joined forces with their sponsor Koro Fine
Australian Jewellery to create "The Most Valuable Cake in the
World' and are set to break a new Guinness World Record.
The cake was estimated at a value of over AUD$3 million and
showcased an array of beautiful loose and rare diamonds, pink
diamonds, coloured gems including sapphire and tourmaline
and Broome and Tahitian pearls. It was uniquely designed and
crafted by the team at Cupid's Delight. It's estimated weight was
80kg and it was decorated with the stunning diamonds on the
outside. The inside of the cake was made from the finest quality
ingredients to produce a rich, dark and decadent chocolate fruit
