我也问了一下Chatter,
Your Image:
Likely: Brachychiton rupestris (Queensland Bottle Tree)
Native to: Eastern Australia
Trunk: Smooth to slightly rough, narrower at the top, tapers out like a wine bottle
Height: Typically 10–20 meters
Leaves: Simple or lobed (when present)
Adansonia digitata (African Baobab):
Native to: Sub-Saharan Africa
Trunk: Much wider and more massive in proportion, often gnarled and irregular
Leaves: Digitately compound (like fingers from a palm)
Flowers: Large, white, and showy
Height: Can grow up to 25 meters, but trunk girth can exceed 10 meters in diameter
Overall Shape: Often looks more squat and enormous at the base compared to Brachychiton
Your tree is a Queensland Bottle Tree (Brachychiton rupestris), not Adansonia digitata (baobab), although they are both sometimes loosely called "bottle trees" because of their water-storing trunks. |
