The State Government will host a welcome home event for the 2012 Olympic team.

The event will be held at Federation Square on Wednesday August 22 at 11:30am.

The athletes will walk through the square and will be available for photographs and autographs.

Premier Ted Bailllieu says it will be a great opportunity for Victorians to meet the Olympic athletes in person.
