I have a modem , WEB EXCEL PT-3812P, which was used for my last ADSL broadband service. and its manual says it supports PPPoE/PPPoA function, After moving to a new room, I signed a new contract with TGP for a ADSL2+ service, which, as shown on its website, requires a modem supporting PPPoE. (I am no sure if PPPoE/PPPoA includes PPPoE, just to confirm,  )my question is : Can I use my current modem for my new ADSL2 service without having to buy a new ADSL2 modem? can anyone familiar with those modem standards help plesase? thanks |
