Doctors Best Nattokinase is an enzyme derived from "natto", a traditional fermented soy food popular in Japan. During the natto production process B. subtilis natto, a friendly bacteria, ferments boiled soybeans, releasing nattokinase. Best Nattokinase contains pure nattokinase enzyme in a lactose base.
Doctor’s Best Nattokinase (2000FU) contains 2,000 fibrinolytic units, which refers to the enzyme activity level. Enzymes, like Nattokinase, are not measured in mg, but in an unassociated measure of units. Even if the enzyme had 1,000mg per capsule but no activity, the enzyme would be worthless. 纳豆激酶是溶解血栓的唯一食品，可预防脑中风及心脏病等心血管疾病：
纳豆激酶，可直接分解血栓，每克湿纳豆溶栓效果相当于尿激酶 1600IU。纳豆激酶对血栓的作用时间长达8-12小时，而尿激酶作用时间只有30分钟。尿激酶只能注射，纳豆激酶即可注射也可口服，而且可以在毛细血管中发挥作用。纳豆在日本已食用1000年，是一种安全的食用血栓预防剂。
--防止骨疏松
