扔花盆没问题 我去给你拍张我扔花盆里后长出来的照片。

果树2-3年不结果 是很正常的吧？我也不期待它这么快能结果，就看着它由一粒籽慢慢长成一棵树已经觉得很有成就感了。

我也是！其实结果不结果倒是无所谓的，就是享受看着它长大的过程，每天都看看有没有长高一点，很有成就感的！这就是生命神奇之处吧！

关于尖朝上还是朝下的问题，我得继续研究一下，ginger mm你等等哈...
简直怀疑我是不是水培的时候弄错了的缘故才不长根的哦...

我再次查了一下那些视频，应该是尖朝上的，水培的时候尖朝上，蒂的部分会长出根来，然后放到土里尖朝上，树苗就应该是从尖那里长出来的。

我都是直接扔土里的，现在院子里面长了4棵了。都是20cm以上的(monkey33)

可是ld闲占地方要给我拔了(monkey08)

Avocados are well suited to both the metropolitan sandy soils and our climate.
Avocados are mainly tall spreading trees, they need plenty of room to grow. Choose a sunny site. It's important to
protect young trees from both frost and strong winds.
A small shelter of shade-cloth in the form of a vertical curtain around the tree works well. Mature trees also need
protection from strong winds so it is worth planting a more permanent windbreak.


FRUIT PRODUCTION
Avocados have a curious flowering habit. Each flower functions as a female when it opens one day and then open as a male on the following day. In order to overlap these times and achieve pollination it is necessary to plant two trees.
Look for A and B varieties in your garden centre - you need to plant one of each. One variety Feurte is a reliable self cropper in the Perth Metropolitan Area.
Most trees will take 3 years from planting to produce reasonable crops. However, both of the Dwarf varieties Rincon and Wurtz will produce earlier fruits.

Place the glass in a bright windowsill. In about three to six weeks the top of the avocado pit will begin to split and a stem sprout will emerge from the top and roots will begin to grow at the base.

When the stem grows to about five or six inches pinch out the top set of leaves. In another two or three weeks new leaves will sprout and their will be more roots.

It's now time to plant the young avocado tree. Place enriched potting soil in a large flowerpot (maybe 8" to 10" across).

Keep your tree in a sunny window, the more sun it gets the bigger it will grow.

Remember to give it frequent light waterings but don't let the soil get muddy. If the leaves turn yellow it means that the plant is getting too much watering, let the tree's soil dry out for a couple of days, then return to light waterings.

When the stem grows six more inches pinch out the top two sets of leaves. This will encourage the plant to grow side shoots and more leaves, making it bushy. Each time the plant grows another six inches pinch out the two newest sets of leaves on top.

"Can my avocado tree ever go outside?"

Yes it can go outside in the summer. If your winters are cold ~ below 45 degrees (F) or 7 degrees (C) ~ you must bring your tree inside for the winter. Otherwise, if your winters are cool and mild, the tree may stay outdoors year round.

"Will my tree ever grow fruit?"

Sometimes they will begin setting fruit after they are three or four years old. It helps to have several avocado trees growing together to aid with pollination.

"How tall will my avocado tree grow?" An avocado tree is a medium to large tall tree. It can grow between 20 and 40 feet tall. With pruning it can be kept at a much shorter height.

That's fine, it can work, but there is a better way to do it, because when roots are grown in water and then transplanted into soil, they don't always do very well. Also, not all avocado seeds will germinate this way.

上面有人说牛油果要种两棵的，但是大家都以为是同一个品种的两棵，这里说明是不同种类的各一棵，请看45楼对于A和B两个品种的具体分类。
那个链接也有两张图片，我不知道具体品牌，但是猜左边那个应该是HASS，右边那个那么表面光滑明亮的品种（也经常有看到的！）应该是属于type B的了，那么拿HASS的和那种光滑的各种一棵应该就可以喽～

这么复杂，我还以为只要同一品种种两棵就行了呢，我不喜欢吃那种绿皮的。。。。。现在看来得再去弄只绿皮的来取种子了。。。

HASS的那种就不用再种了，或者mm都可以拿来积分交易出货哦～～

周六问了 hawkesbury 来卖牛油果的农民伯伯了，糙糙皮的hass和光光皮的reed，都可以单种一棵，一棵树上会同时有female和male的花

从种子种的话是10～12年才能结果

给悉尼的同学参考

不知道我在flemington买到过的超级便宜的（有时候2k只要3刀哦。。。）那种牛油果是什么品种的哦？那种牛油果也是粗糙的皮跟hass比较像的，不过那种的核总是比较小的不像hass品种的那么大粒核！
有没有人知道啊？

从种子种要7-10年才有果，在比较暖和的地方4-6年。不过你可以用这些树苗嫁接的，这样就可以快点结果了。
