据今天中午维州警方刚刚公布的消息 ，12月12日上午10点50分左右，在墨尔本越南裔聚居区Springvale的View Rd一栋家庭住宅前院花园，锯树工人在路边作业时赫然发现一具被塑料袋包裹的尸体。

警方谋杀调查科正赶往现场调查，目前尚不清楚死者的性别、年龄、种族。。。

A BODY has been found wrapped in plastic in the front yard of a Springvale house, police report.

Police say workmen discovered the corpse while cutting down trees in the overgrown front garden of the house at 10:50 this morning.

Homicide squad detectives are on their way to the View Rd home.

It is unclear whther the victim is male or female and police are yet to determine the time of death or approximate age of the victim.

比《The Age》的报道早了近一个小时，呵呵。

具体的案发地点在Springvale的View Road和Gunther Street拐角位置，距离Sandown Park的greyhound Racing track很近。

Homicide detectives are on the way to a house at Springvale in Melbourne's east following the discovery of a dead body late this morning.

Police spokeswoman Creina O'Grady said workmen found the body wrapped in plastic on the site of a house under renovation about 11am.

The body were cutting down overgrown trees and plants at the property.

The older-style home is on the corner of View Road and Gunther Street in Springvale, not far from the Sandown Park greyhound track.

Police said the death was suspicious and homicide detectives had been called to the scene.

She said the body was found in "suspicious" circumstances but could not say where on the property the body was found.

12月12日消息  被弃置在墨尔本Springvale一栋房子前院的尸体已被证实是女性，据警方推测是在昨天夜间被放置在那里的。

这栋砖瓦房一直是投资房，已经空置将近一年的时间，数月前屋主开始对它进行装修，今天上午正是屋主带着朋友来院子里锯树时发现这具用塑料垃圾袋包裹的尸体。

POLICE are involved in a painstaking process to peel a plastic bag from the body of a woman found dumped in the front yard of a Springvale house.

The corpse was discovered at 11 this morning by a man and a friend who were working in the garden of the View Rd house.

Police believe the body had been dumped overnight at the property.

Detective Senior Sergeant Jeff Maher said police could not determine the cause of death until a post mortem examination was conducted.

"The house owner found the body dumped in the front yard of his house wrapped in garbage bags," Det Snr Sgt Maher said.

He said police had done a comprehensive doorknock of the area to try to find any witnesses.

He said all they could determine so far was that the body was that of a female.

They were still trying to determine her age.

Det Snr Sgt Maher said police were involved in an "inch-by-inch" process of peeling off the plastic and had not seen the woman's face.

Startled neighbours informed of the grisly discovery said the previously rented home had been empty for up to a year.

Christine Burrage said it would have been easy to dump a body undetected as the house rarely had lights on at night.

"It's usually a pretty quiet and dull street. I pity the poor person," Miss Burrage said.

"I haven't seen or heard anything suspicious.

"There's been workmen coming and going but they are usually gone by late afternoon."

Renovations began on the brick property a few months ago.

当地的一名地产中介Henry Vuong表示，这一带通常是比较安静的区域。

23岁居民Tuan Phan不久前刚刚搬到附近的Colonsay Street，他说，”我一直听说Springvale是很差的区，但没想到会是这样。“



Local real estate agent Henry Vuong, who was driving past the scene this afternoon, told The Age it was usually a peaceful area.

"I think it's unusual for this sort of thing to happen around here. I was driving by and heard something was happening," Mr Vuong said.

"This is quite a peaceful and good area, the Sandown Estate at Springvale."

Local resident Tuan Phan, 23, said he had recently moved into a house in nearby Colonsay Street.

"I heard Springvale was bad, but I didn't expect something like this," Mr Phan said.

"I thought it was on the way to getting better because of the new police station and everything, but this has put me off again," he said.

Mr Phan said he had lived in Springvale for 10 years and had decided to move to a more expensive house closer to the new police station.

"We hadn't seen something like this for four or five years. I hope the area does improve," he said.

我觉得在澳洲杀个人很容易的，比如家里院子比较大的话，或者在人口不太密集的地方，把人杀了后院挖个坑埋起来就好了，或者用塑料袋存在地下室或者地下工具间。不抛尸的话可能上10年都不会有人知道。
特别是没有工作的妇女，以及老人，根本不会有人知道。
假设你在澳洲没有很多朋友，没有固定的社交圈子和活动场所，大部分时间是待在家里，和国内的联系也不是很频繁，你被杀了，根本没人会知道，等知道了，早不知死多长时间了。
象小南瓜那个事情，如果那个男的不逃跑，不抛弃小孩，就是 把女的杀了关在车库里或者地下室，没有人会知道的。再说还可以抛尸去一些人迹罕至的山林里，估计也是N年以后才有人知道。

最近看了一些房子，有的区真是人迹稀疏，杀死个把人真的很容易。。。。

我从刚来澳州就考虑过这样的问题（我可不是变态）

问题是，为什么杀了人就扔在路边呢？当垃圾么？那就不要装塑料袋好了。这个杀人犯肯定精神有问题。
