Pergola & Driveway 信息

As the handover date is getting closer and closer (I would say around mid-June, we will probably get the key), I am starting to get quotes for landscaping of our house, we need those quotes to do our budget plan.
BUT it’s so frustrating to deal with those tradesmen, they seem don’t care about the business at all!! So far, I contacted a few, but haven’t got any quote yet, what a big headache!!
I think it’s better to sort out our priority list, so I don’t need to worry about all of them at a time.
Things must get done (high priority)
- driveways
- pathways
- paving to the side of the house
- a pergola to the side of the house
- an outdoor kitchen
- paving to the back of the house
- instant turf to the front yard and backyard
- other landscaping things to the front yard and backyard
- a mailbox
The things we prefer to have if we have some money left:
- render to the timber posts at front entry
- a pergola to the back of the house
- storage solution for walk-in-wardrobe
- lighting throughout the house
I am working very hard to get the quotes for above items, and will keep the post updated to share what I found, please keep an eye out!

５月４日更新：
去了homeone论坛询问，坛子里一位同学推荐给我两个concretor，一个报价很低，plain colored的报价$43一平方，一个报价稍微高点，但有比较信用度，$55一平方．两个人的联系方式都已经拿到，等再过一段时间就去找他们quote价格．
再说说pergola，pergola有两种顶，平的叫flat roof，拱型的叫gable roof or pitched roof，拱型顶价格较贵．
pergola有两种材料做的，一种是钢的，一种是木头的，timber要便宜于steel的，但是timber日后要打理，而且pergola的面积如果很大，timber就要用上很多柱子支撑，steel的就不用．
pergola顶的材料一般有两种，colorbond或者是laserlite，colorbond是铁皮的不透明，laserlite是透明的，顶可以全部做成colorbond，可以全部做成透明的，不过一般那些tradesman会建议你做一半一半，全透明的夏天会很热．
我现在拿到的pergola的报价是用木头框架，加上laserlite材料的顶，
3.2mt x 5.26mt，报价是平顶的$2900
3.6mt x 6.7mt，报价是平顶的$4000,拱顶的$4900
以上价格不包油漆和council permits．
我还在等另两份报价，是用钢做框架的，看看价格有什么区别．

５月４日更新：
今天另外一个价格拿到了，是用钢的框架，加上colorbond和laserlite的顶．
3mt x 5.5mt, 拱顶，报价$6628
3.7mt x 5.3mt, 平顶，报价$4682
平顶比拱顶的面积还要小几个平方，但便宜好多哦！！我是不是得想想值不值得做拱顶的了？？
约了另一个人周四早上去报价，正好顺便看看房子进展．

我手上已经有两份报价了！
在我对那些tradesmen很绝望的时候，无意发现了个网站叫service centre，这个网站很方便，只要把你想要做的job发布在上面，然后tradesmen会主动联系你。我抱着试试的心态注册了个账号，然后发布了两个job，一个是driveway，一个是pergolas，没想到第二天就接到三个电话，而且他们都接受在双休上门报价。
从昨天到今天，跟他们三个人都见了一面。那个做driveway的，今天早上居然是开了辆法拉力来报价，人很好，还帮我简单的设计了院子，他报价不是很精细，当场就给我价格了，我不太确定他量的面积对不对，但是很多小的细节他都是不另加钱的，比如加个台阶什么的。
先给大家看看水泥的几种铺法的图片
plain的就是最简单的，其实颜色选对了效果也不错！
stencil的就是现在比较流行的，有纹路的水泥，颜色是调和进去的，现在还有可以在旧的水泥上喷漆涂成那样．
slate的就是做成像石板一样的．
exposed aggregate的就是做的像石头路，但是小石子都是嵌在水泥里的．
说说铺水泥地的报价：
他帮我用深灰色（房子屋顶的颜色）加深黄色（房子车库门的颜色）调在一起做成slate石板的效果，收费是$65一平方（好像还要加上个什么价钱，忘记问了）
水泥铺在driveway,正门的前面的小路，洗衣房外面一条小路，晾衣架下面的一块地方，餐厅外面的一块5米乘3米7的户外厨房场所，房子后面一块5米5乘4米的户外娱乐场所，一共$6100。如果我只把房子前面的水泥做成石板样式，其他的全部做成简单的深灰色的水泥，收费是$5800.

5月11日更新:关于pergola的一些想法
拿quote真是不容易,这么多天过去了,我手上还就那么几份,不过也能作个参考.
我比较倾向于做steel的pergola了,原因如下:
1. timber的报价也不算便宜,16.8平的报价近$3000; 而steel的,18.87平方的报价$4600
2. timber的还要加上刷油漆的费用和人工; steel的颜色是已经做好了的,还可以自己选.
3. timber不如steel的好看,比较heavy的感觉; steel看起来比较清爽,线条比较细.
4. timber日后还要经常打理,很麻烦; steel的不用打理.
5. 做timber的公司不提供申请permit的服务; 做steel的公司收取$550(包括申请费几百元)包办building permit.
由于我们的预算紧张,估计做不了拱顶的pergola了,两个pergola都是平顶的,不过做pergola的人说平顶效果也会很不错的,因为我家房子不矮.
算算两个pergola做下来要近1W了! |
