Ingredients for dough
1.5 cups plain flour
1 sachet dry yeast (7g)
120ml lukewarm water or milk
1 dessert spoon flour
1 dessert spoon sugar
Ingredients for fillings
Minced pork
Chopped spring onions
Sesame oil
Light soy
Salt
Pepper
Sesame seeds
Water
Methods:
Mix the yeast, flour, sugar and water/milk together and let it stand for about 10mins.
In a mixing bowl, mix the liquid mixture into the flour and knead to form a smooth dough. Cover it with gladwrap and stand in a warm place for 1 to 1.5 hours until the dough double it size.
Mix the minced pork, spring onions, sesame oil, soy, salt and pepper well for later use.
Once the dough double it size, knead the dough for about 5 mins and roll the dough out into a large rectangular shape. Spread the meat fillings evenly onto the dough. Starting with the longest side fold 1/3 into the middle and the second third over the first so you have a tri-fold piece of dough. Cut the dough into sections and place them on a lined baking tray. Brush the top with water and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
Bake in a 175 - 180 Degree Celsius oven for about 20 mins. |
