Ingredients: 350g minced chicken 1 bacon (chopped) 1/2 onion (chopped) 2 cloves garlic (chopped) 2 tablespoon breadcrumbs 1/2 teaspoon Worcester sauce 1/2 teaspoon oyster sauce 2 teaspoon light soy A dash of white pepper Some chopped spring onions Cooking oil 2 sheets frozen puff pastry (thawed) 1 egg yolk Methods: Preheat oven to 180 °C (fan forced oven). Line a baking tray. Heat oil in frying pan, sauté garlic and onion till aromatic. Add in bacon, continue to stir till brown and fragrant. Set aside to cool. Combine the minced chicken, bacon mixture, breadcrumbs, chopped spring onions, Worcester sauce, oyster sauce, soy and pepper in a mixing bowl. Mix well. Place 1/2 of the chicken mixture on the thawed pastry, roll up the pastry to form a log, press down the edge firmly to seal the log. Cut crossways into 4 equal portions. Repeat this process with the second puff pastry sheet. Place the rolls on the lined baking tray, brush the rolls with egg yolk and bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown. |
