Search Specialist

Role Overview:
Responsible for the overall day to day implementation, management and delivery of client/s paid search campaigns to agreed goals. Responsible for overseeing campaign development and managing all aspects of paid search.

The focus is to demonstrate ROI for their client’s investment. Ultimately responsible for ensuring delivery of the performance aspect of the agency’s offering.

The ideal candidate has an excellent knowledge of all things Search and sound knowledge of the wider digital media environment. They are self-starter who can demonstrate a record of outstanding delivery of performance-based media and ability to develop creative strategies to solve problems. Meticulous in their output covering all aspects in granular detail. They are a team player: able to work independently and communicate seamlessly. The ability to meet tight deadlines is critical.

INTERNAL:
•        Work to create and seamlessly execute results-driven search accounts.
•        Facilitate all team requests and deliver upon these in a timely manner.
•        Train the team with relevant knowledge, techniques and skills, and discuss potential impact on client programs.
•        Tests focused on new pre-sale content elements like Unique Value Propositions, sales promotions and discounts, layout, and providing more granular & targeted Landing Pages for high-value search segments.
Provide Weekly and Monthly reporting on performance of SEM Campaigns (Excel), including analysis by country, keyword theme, and sales & CPA metrics.
•        Responsible for ensuring all client folders in order and up-to-date.
•        Grow sales and lower CPA in our largest markets, and create new sales from long-tail markets world-wide. Responsible for growing traffic from SEM channel, identify opportunities for sales growth as well as cost-cutting inefficient spend.
•        Behave in a professional manner and build internal relationships.
•        Ensure a positive and motivating work environment.
•        Effectively manage time to ensure all delegated tasks are completed in a timely manner.
•        Implement campaigns targeting world-wide markets and multi-lingual searches as manager of Google AdWords SEM Account across 8 different TLD's.
•        Collaborate with online marketing team to share business insights for optimal ad copy messaging, and implement marketing campaigns across all channels.
Improve Conversion Rate within SEM account with A/B Testing (Optimizely) and implement key learnings site-wide to increase revenues for the business.
•        Collate reports to drive workflow for SEM, as well as recommendations for SEO, Remarketing, E-mail, & other marketing channels.

CAMPAIGN MANAGEMENT:
•        Develop powerful search strategies and optimisation plans with deliverable timelines.
•        Manage Optimisation/Campaign plan communication to client to ensure delivery of goals, budget, and performance.
•        Implementation of search strategies aligned to client’s business goals.
•        Successful transition of new accounts - engines, tracking, setting campaign KPIs, the entire process and communication to client once complete.
•        Prepare client case studies/communication of campaign successes & innovation.
•        Ensure successful website analytics & tracking tag implementation.
•        Budget pacing and day-to-day budget management – no under or over spends.
•        Draft initial keyword lists & creative development.
•        Ensure monthly reports delivered on time and of high quality.
•        Account performance troubleshooting on an ongoing-basis.
•        Accurately monitor all campaign aspects and ensure accurate delivery of results.
•        Master knowledge of client's business, competition and industry news and trends.

SYSTEMS:
We use a number of different tools to manage campaigns and a client’s business. You will be required to have expert knowledge of the below systems:
o Google Adwords
o Google Analytics
o Facebook
Sound knowledge of all Microsoft Office Systems; Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
