楼下有网友说, 一个集装箱的货要付上千元的各种提货费.

好像没那么多. 一般说, 你委托货物代理帮你做, 码头上的一干费用下来约4~500元/20尺集装箱.
报关费你自己去办理, 也就4~60元.

当然, 你不怕麻烦想自己学学练练省省钱, 花一半的钱就行了.

整箱的卸箱费比拼箱的要便宜很多的。拼箱的大概要60、70元一立方。

是整箱.  拼箱的贵些. 所以你索性就凑齐一个柜, 买卖/送人/自用都好.

无例外的, 最后都委托货代了. wharfage, terminal handling fee 就按上面说的掏钱吧.

你请的搬家公司会为你拆, 反正按小时算钱.

doc fee has been included in my list.
as for sea cargo automation,if you your name is on the manifest which means you are the ultimate consignee, you don't need to pay for it.shipping line has the responsibility to report manifest and lodge sea cargo.but you have to pay custom charges.if you nominate an agent,then you have to pay them comission.of course,you can use your own agent to look after everything for you.

you can do everything by yoursefl,including arrange transport,if you have such ability.
before vessel arrival,get your original bill of lading,if it is express release,just bring a copy bill or arrival notice.confirm with shipping line if they are clearing now.then bring the bill of lading to shipping line,pay all the local charges mentioned above,if ocean freight collected, you have to pay it as well.
then you get the delivery order which can get the container from terminal depot.if you have a house bill, then you have to go to your forwarder to do the same thing with them.meanwhile,you must get ready all necessary document about importing your cargo,they are needed at custom and terminal depot.

i am nobody here.i am not the person who can make any decision.
what i am doing is follow company's policy and making boss happy.
i can't give you a satisfied rate about any of your shipment.
i won't show any mercy to you when i collect money from you.
no money no deal.
remember,normally,shipping line won't accept cash or credit card,especially when freight is collected.get your cheque ready.or you can make a electronic transfer,and fax to shipping line inward sea freight department or bring your remittance advice with you when clearing your bills.

It just doesn't matter whether you are a decision maker or not. But I will understand if you don't
want to leave your business phone number here----I appreciate your expert help, just as everybody else here who is interested in this topic.

I have already filed your kind advice into my hard drive--just in case. The information may come in handy someday. And then I will be reminded of your friendly help today.

I am sure you are too kind to laugh at a 'nobody' like me who is collecting this information with the view to save a few hard-earned dollars---we are not Da Kuan.  Would you mind giving me further guidance please?

If I decide to do it all by myself---without going to a cargo forwarder/agent, is it possible?
If so, what is the step-by-step way? Take a freight prepaid, express release, with myself as the notify party and consignee? For example, who do I contact at the P&O port? Who do I pay,  by check, for releasing the container to me and who do I talk to about clearing all those "wharfage, THC, bla bla" except customs entry processing fee?

I await your response with a grateful heart.

well,it's quite possible to do it yourself.
p&o is one of those terminals in port botany area.
different shipping lines call different terminal.
details i have to think it over before releasing here.
i am not professional. what i know is only some parts of the whole procedure.

Something like:

1. The B/L arrives.
2. ETA is given.
3. Then???
4.

including the interaction with the customs as well as the P&O port/terminal and whoever....

关于进口的全部流程，其实我也说不太清楚，因为我没有做过。
船公司这边的情况，相对简单一点。
前面我提到的charge，是船公司向收货人收取，用来cover码头上的杂费。
psc(port service charge),lol(lift on/lift off),thc(terminal handling charge)
security，这项费用是今年新加的，澳州政府规定的费用，doc(documentation fee),另加gst。这些构成进口集装箱的local charge。如果海运费预付，换单的时候，只需付清上述费用，再lodge正本提单（电放除外），就可以拿到delivery order(小提单），去码头提箱。
在船到港前，船公司会按舱单上的收货人发arrival notice，当你收到后，就可以打电话到船公司确认换单时间。如果没有收到，船公司不负任何由此造成的额外费用。在换单前，你必须拿到海外发货人寄来的三联正本提单，如果只有一联，且收货人凭指示（to order ），则必须有发货人的背书（endorsment），如果收货人现实实际收获人名称地址，则必须有收货人背书。背书必须是商业印章，手写或打字机打印，船公司均不接受。如果是个人，非商业货品（personal effect），则可出示驾照复印件，但地址姓名必须与提单显示一致。如果持有3联正本提单，则无须背书，换单时，logde 全套正本即可。我想你们如果是个人运输，不太可能会做电放。
这些都齐备后，就可以去换单了，付清费用，就可以拿到小提单，上面有船公司的sca章，和放单人的签名。这样就可以准备提箱了。在船到之前，你还必须去海关办理相关手续，报关清关。也要付费。具体不是很清楚了。海关通了以后，也拿到了小提单，就要安排卡车，一般码头是不能拆箱的，所以必须拉走，到你自己的场所拆箱。码头提箱前，还必须和码头预约time slot，booking 到time slot后，才能按规定时间，派卡车去提箱。
当你，拆箱完毕，不要忘了在规定时间内把空箱还到船公司指定的depot，一般有10天左右的期限。
现这些吧，还有好多细节，以后想起来再说。

国内车场我去过,不过没真的做过,最多去报关公司交材料就跑了..这里可能大同小异吧?

既然朋友是干这一行的, 那么请教, 您说来一个货柜, 普通个人是花个4/500元委托货代办手续呢, 还是自己勤学苦练, 照着您的联络图操练一番? 贵司收多少费啊/20尺的?

大哥，你的流程图我打开是空白。文字到时都有。
如果，是个人做的话，做整箱，是没有house bill的，通过代理公司做，
是代理公司同船公司订舱，才会向收货人签发自己的house bill。
我个人认为，个人通过货代公司做进口，还是比较合适的。价钱上不会贵很多，
却可以省很多事情，只要付钱，提交必要文件，就可以等着提货，连集装箱都不用操心。也不用考虑换箱。全套进口坐下来，必然要跑很多路，非很多周折。
代理公司有职业的优势，人多，分工细，所以，效率很高。
但，一定要找信誉好的，要不，也会有麻烦。所谓信誉好的，就是那些同主要船公司关系好的，这样，服务才更有保证。
