Our client is looking for a Test Analyst to work in their Development Team, and be responsible for preparing and executing test plans to deliver high quality software.  The role is a crucial part of the team which works using an Agile development process (Based on Scrum)

The role is seen as an advocate for the Clients of our software and as such looks to improve quality across all parts of Software Development activity.

You would work within the Scrum Team – whose focus is producing completed features of business value each Sprint (Development Cycle).  A key part of this is strong team communications and role flexibility to ensure the team achieves its goals.  

Duties and Responsibilities
·         Maintain Test Plans, Test Cases and Test Runs as required to maintain a high quality product.
·         Maintain up to date and relevant database of the bugs – including analysis of their impact and priority.
·         Participate in all Scrum based team activities.  Including Planning, Stand-ups, and Retrospectives.
·         Work with the Development Team to ensure all work is fully tested and ready for deployment at the end of each Sprint.
·         Working with Help Desk to analyse issues from customers and advise on workarounds.
·         Build and maintain Automated Test Scripts and Test Harnesses.
·         Advise, educate and evangelize the QA aspect of the development lifecycle.
·         Continually adapt the testing processes and systems to ensure best industry practice.
·         Communicate Release information, including features completed and known bugs.

SKILLS, ABILITIES, INTEREST LEVEL AND EXPERIENCE
Prior Web Testing Experience
Knowledge of Testing Practices
An understanding of the Software Development Processes
Ability to work in a team environment.
Experience working in an Agile Development Team.
An interest in the Australian share market.
An interest in IT

Great communication skills.
·         Bachelor’s degree or equivalent commercial experience is required.  
·         One or more years of testing experience is required of specifically testing websites.
