Our company is an established Asian FMCG food distributor with over 30 years experience in Australia. Our portfolio of brands are recognized around the world and we are considered a distributor of choice in Australia.

We are seeking an ICT Professional to join our busy IT Department. The ICT Support Officer will be responsible for supporting the ICT needs of staff and contractors both onsite and remotely to ensuring users get maximum benefits from them.  

Key Responsibilities:

First point of contact for the IT department, logging all incidents , taking ownership of service requests and provide timely resolutions to all service desk requests over the phone as well as onsite
Coordinate service requests with other IT team members and/or business units when required, to ensure timely resolution
Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications
Assist and participate in IT projects as required
Document and maintain inventory of software and hardware across all business sites
Working continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate);
Prioritising and managing many open cases at one time;
Rapidly establishing a good working relationship with customers and other professionals (e.g., software developers);
Testing and evaluating new technology;
Conducting electrical safety checks on computer equipment.
Experience and Qualifications:

At least 2 years of experience providing Service Desk / Desktop Support Analyst position.
Experience with Microsoft Server and Desktop technologies Windows 7/8, office 2007 /2010, Active Directory and Exchange
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office 2007 and Outlook 2007;
Excellent communications and presentation skills
PC and laptop hardware troubleshooting skills;
Able to travel interstates
Knowledge of infrastructure (Wireless, LAN, WAN, PABX);
Proven time management and organization skills, with strong prioritizing skills and excellent attention to details.
