Aged Care Housing Services

We offer a number of culturally appropriate housing options for seniors. ANHF manages both government owned and privately owned aged care housing accommodation. We aim to offer supportive services as well as maintaining a comfortable and safe living environment for tenants.
Jones St and Poplar St

Jones St and Poplar St Community Housing—As a registered community-housing provider, the Australian Nursing Home Foundation (ANHF) manages 70 units on behalf of the NSW Department of Housing. The units are located in close proximity to Chinatown, with 24 units (3 floors) in Poplar Street, Surry Hills, and 46 units (a purpose-built complex) in Jones Street, Ultimo. These units purposely cater for seniors who are eligible for public housing accommodation, are financially disadvantaged and/or socially isolated.
Lucy Chieng Gardens

Lucy Chieng Gardens in Campsie caters for seniors who want to live independently while receiving culturally appropriate supportive services from ANHF. It offers Chinese meals and satellite televisions, games, gatherings and other day care activities, a library with Chinese titles a kiosk with two computers with free Internet access via the Broadband for Seniors program funded by the Australian Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs (FAHCSIA).
