新足迹论坛里有愈来愈多的学龄孩子的父母，特别是很多人的孩子即将到了上学的年龄，或者很多人买房租房的时候学校也成为一个重要的考虑因素。
论坛里询问和讨论的帖子非常多，但是都很零散地分布在不同类型的帖子里，很不容易查找。
这里我建立一个关于汇总帖，把尽可能多的会员对于悉尼公立小学的评价收集起来。
公立小学系统是没有什么客观量化的指标来排名的，所有可以参考的东西多是家长的观感和口碑，所以这些新足迹上会员们的评论就会显的非常有用，值得大家的借鉴。
不过再次提醒大家要注意，使用这个帖子要小心。这些都是会员们非常主观的评价，每个人的看法不同，别人认为好的学校不一定就适合你的需要，别人嘴里的差者在你看来可能非常好。

这个学校很不一样，首先是名字里面有个“Demonstration”，就是样板，典型的意思。原来国内有不少实验小学、实验中学之类的，是一个意思。
这个学校的motto也不一样，不提什么全面发展啊，素质教育啊啥的，而是赤裸裸地一句“Towards the Highest”。这在澳洲这边的教育体系里不能不说是个另类。
这个学校的教育水平普遍被认为是比较高的，为什么？因为跟University of Sydney的这个affiliation program。学校的老师很多都是UoS的教育系的本科和研究生，他们来学校给学生上课，同时收集各种数据，反馈给他们的研究计划。
很多最前沿的教育改革和新理论，首先会被应用到这个学校的cirruculum里面来；如果成功的话才会向其他小学慢慢推广。
而这也同时带来了此学校跟其他公校最大的一点不同：其他的学校的职员都是教育部的雇员，老师的来和走，校长并无太大权限；这个学校的老师则是必须通过一个interview panel的assessment，才能来任教。其中具体的安排细节我并不清楚，基本上UoS会支付给这些老师一些津贴，而老师们都要参与UoS的进修课程。
我们学区是north sydney demonstration，因为每天从那学校门口路过，觉得那里的孩子。。。而且听朋友说他儿子以前在那里，老师抓得不严，学几年，水平不见涨，后来不得不送私立学校。。。
在孩子没上学前，我每天从nsd经过，看到的孩子，大多不整洁，感觉不好，另学校临主路，设施也较少。听到的评价也不高。所以根本就没考虑这所学校。具体这两校的成绩和升学率还真没有研究。只要孩子开心就好。
朋友的女儿在North Sydney Demonstration读四年级了。说学校的环境和教育确实不错，有一点就是同学的父母都是本地当官之类的，或者医生，律师。总而言之都是比较HIGHER CLASS，但是考取OC班的一个都没有。朋友的女儿读书也不怎么样，朋友说因为同学们也没有读书的气氛，所以大家都读不好。再有就是朋友说她女儿也不是读书的料。哈哈，看来再好的学校，小朋友自己本身的努力也缺少不了。
还真是,这个学校就是环境好,学风似乎很一般.朋友的小孩在里面读书,读了一年就转到其他学校去了,就是因为这所学校每年能考上OC班或是精英中学的学生没几个.我们还一直以为这家是下北岸在考试成绩方面最不咋的的小学呢.

这个小学占地面积不大，但是人数不少，目前有六百多人。两个OC班。学校每周有newsletter, 每年有annual report（这个是必须的），定期组织各年级活动，各种社会活动非常丰富，包括：主题舞会，体育活动，school band，知识抢答比赛，excursion等等。学生家长跟学校紧密联系，学校学生也参加很多community的活动，比如学校每年校庆的Firework night，Mufti Day捐金币等等。
是的，听另外住在NEUTRAL BAY的朋友说了。她女儿都没补课，结果也考取OC班了，说是因为住在北区，没多少人补课，竞争少。
一个鬼佬同事, 他儿子在Neutral Bay Public School读OC班, 他说很好, 他儿子在那里也很高兴, 也不象其他的OC班那样全部是华人。
我自己选的是Neutral Bay Public，这个小学有600人，2个OC班，平常有很多社会活动，校长也认真负责，相对academic可能会比Artarmon弱一点。人员结构低年级以本地孩子为主，高年级一半一半，属于我的理想状态。

这是当地家庭选择比较多的学校。
我们preschool的家长，住在附近上公校的，选Cammeray的人数最多，其次Willoughby和Roseville。今天听同事说，她一个在小学里当老师的朋友说Greenwich今年生源不足，不知道是否属实。

有4个OC班，以Academic建树闻名。
Artarmon的OC班Year 5有两个，但是OC学区范围也比Chatswood大一些。这个学校名气很响，在什么报纸还是杂志上看到过说它是整个NSW最好的小学。当然对academic重视程度肯定比一般的小学要高。
Chatswood和Artarmon两个学校都有650人以上的学生，算蛮多的了。
NESB的学生比率chatswood75%比Artarmon的55%高多了。
但是个人觉得Artarmon Public在家长中的口碑更好，否则Artarmon的房子租金为啥那样高？（要知道居住上和Chatswood相比，Artarmon什么都没有）。
artarmon小学到底有多好，到目前为止，我说不上来。最近几年每年都有进JamesRuse，north sydney boys 和girls的就更多了。我儿子去年的班级29个人里直接考进本校OC的有7人，还有一些在reserve list上，最后大多也进了，其他3个班的情况也差不多。这个比例可能是较高的，如果这就是大家说的好。
但是就我半年来的观察，这个高比例在很大程度上是因为有了那些不怕折腾的家长。至于这个学校当然也还不错，比如没有bully，band一流，有一些不错的老师，但你不一定碰得到。我的感觉是对公立小学，哪怕是好的公立，不要抱太多期望，无论是学业还是其他。
Artarmon的school band听很多家长都说好。
忍不住多说几句，Artarmon PS 考入OC的高比例家长功不可没。有那么多不怕麻烦的爸爸妈妈，想成绩不好都难。学校是还可以，但是同志们的评价显然过高了。其他公校有的问题，这个学校也都有，比如不负责任的老师等等。好老师比好学校更重要，而能否遇到好老师运气的成分更多一点。
我们因为初来乍到，反正要选个地方住下，就来了Artarmon，属于顺势而为，所以还是比较满意的。但是这个学校有没有好到需要为之折腾呢，TZ们还是请三思。我只想友情提醒一下，免得来了以后失望。在这个学校的家长中我听到的complain也不少。
Artarmon Public School 这个版上已经讨论很多了, 号称最好的公立小学.
从academic的角度来看的话呢，我推荐Artarmon Public，这个小学的academic很强，华人孩子比较多。我个人比较倾向于一半一半的结构，一半亚洲（移民）孩子，一半澳洲本地孩子，这样孩子更容易适应，也容易保持自己的文化背景，也更不容易感到自卑。如果全部是白人孩子，我有点担心孩子会觉得自己是odd one out。

是当地居民选择比较多的学校之一，校内有一个专为学生设的免费的Dental Clinic。
Willoughby Public在本地家庭中，口碑好像比Chatswood Public好。我们preschool就有不少孩子去了Willoughby Public，还有他们也喜欢Cammeray Public。

也是在当地家庭中口碑很好的学校。
最近看了一个房子在Roseville小学的学区内．以前听说这个学校口碑不错．可是看了小学的
annual report，basic skill的成绩很差哦．不知这个report很重要吗？
Roseville Public School挺不错的小学，规模也不小，有近700人了。
这里读书的好处是将来孩子小学毕业了，如果成绩一般考不进精英中学也没钱读私校的话，周边很多区的公立中学都是普通公立中学中的佼佼者，比如Killara High, Willoughby Girl High, Killarney Height High, Chatswood High，Roseville这个区都是这些学校招生学区里排名靠前的catchment zone。
有家长和我说过，Roseville小学和Killara High的关系很好，Killara High有很多学生就是Roseville Public School毕业的。所以这算是个房子的卖点吧。
我也没看到过那个成绩，不知道该校成绩如何，不过这个学校校风不错的。居民以澳洲本地人为主，应该都是中产以上家庭。感觉亚洲学生相对少的学校成绩会比亚洲学生多的差一些。另外，有些学校成绩好也有可能因为学校里有OC班，会把整个学校的成绩往上提。Roseville这个学校没有OC班，会不会受点影响？在academic方面，这个学校的要求和水平肯定是不如Artarmon，不过其他活动比如体育，音乐等肯定不弱。这是澳洲本地学生多的学校的特点。
感谢斑主回贴.Report里确实是NAPLAN.只不过看上去他们的literature, numeric成绩好象没有Chatswood, Willoughby, ARtarmon好.在first band only 25% compared to Artarmon more than 60%. 不过以往总是听说Roseville小学很好.
Roseville那个小学我去看过，周围环境都不错，学校不是很大，不过感觉还不错的样子。澳洲本地白人，都倾向于小规模学校，他们都不太喜欢人数众多的小学，可能他们更倾向于那种大家比较联系紧密，community的感觉。

Epping这边据说是Beecroft Primary最好， 有OC班。
North Rock的小学也有OC 班，不过我一个在Cheltenham 住了很久的也是香港的同事说，那个OC班比较新，他不觉得好，他是非常推荐Beecroft primary 的。
我儿子在Beecroft 小学读了3年半，从year 3 to year 6。我对这个小学印象很好，原因如下，仅供参考：
1，学校大，所以各方面资源丰富。以乐队举例，他们学校有3个level的bands, 外加一个stage band。每年参加各种音乐节，得奖无数。儿子最近参加了band camping，到country的小学演出3天，是很不错的经历。除了乐队，学校还有各种球队，和其它业余活动对，很丰富。
2，教学相对较严格。每年的NAPLEN学校平均分都是远远超过NSW分数。从year 5 开始有精英班，成绩自然更不必说了。
3，校内有自己的childcare centre, 方便接送。
4，华人孩子的比例相对适中。在没有精英班的班级，华人占到15%，精英班的华人或亚裔占70%。
5，Beecroft这个区治安不错，学校里bully的现象少，校风正。这一点从学生的着装和日常行为表现就能看出来。有一次，他们学校参加在opera house的活动。当时同时有几十所学校的学生在场。有些学校的学生纪律很差，而他们学校的学生表现得整齐有序，很有水准，大受组织表扬，由此可见学生素质相对不错。
据兔小D说，这个学校的草地，运动场所，shady area 都太小， 校服不好看，体育课没劲，班里nerdy 比较多，cool boy 比较少，没有二外科目。
其他倒也没啥不好。
我个人认为，以上缺点可以忽略不计。
去年，有10个小朋友考上本校OC, 据说是历年最高的一次
今年，好像是5个人
考进精英的比例，也挺高的。OC班 自然100%进 精英或私校。老师说普通班也有很多人进精英的。具体比例没问。

是DENISTONE EAST PUBLIC SCHOOL,听说什么入学率很高.三年级或四年级分那个什么班.我老公是听鬼佬同事推荐的.但入了学一看,华人也近1/3呢.
来了就念KG.学校还算是好的,口碑和硬件都比较好,学校也很大,光KG就有6个班,每个班都快超员了.
我儿子学校年年重新分班,重新换老师.而且老师都不跟级,所以要级级碰到好老师,那真要额头高
我就知道ＲＹＤＥ ＣＯＵＮＣＩＬ之内我女儿读的Denistone East Public School是非常好的学校．好多附近的家长都想办法让孩子过来读的，她们班有ＷＥＳＴ ＲＹＤＥ的，ＲＹＤＥ的，ＭＡＲＳＦＩＥＬＤ的，当然还有区域范围内的ＥＡＳＴＷＯＯＤ和ＤＥＮＩＳＴＯＮＥ ＥＡＳＴ．
我知道她们班一个妈妈把自己在ＰＡＲＡＭＭＡＴＴＡ的家租出去，然后在学校附近租房的，她们学校没有ＯＣ班，但是如果孩子进了学校的提高班，那比ＯＣ班还难，她们学校是进不了提高班才去报考ＯＣ班的．

还有ＥＡＳＴＷＯＯＤ ＰＵＢＬＩＣ没这个好，我女儿就是从ＥＡＳＴＷＯＯＤ ＰＵＢＬＩＣ转到ＤＥＮＩＳＴＯＮＥ的．
好像是DENISTONE，DENISTONE EAST应该全是属于它的CATCHMENT。但是EASTWOOD是有一部分属于它的CATCHMENT。最近买了房子就在这个学校的附近。走路过去10分钟不到。DENISTONE EAST，可是没有什么人把房子拿出来卖的。卖房子的韩裔ONWER说DENISTONE EAST PUBLIC是NSW的TOP 5. 当然这是民间的排名。说这个学校相当的不错。有自己的游泳池。很像私校，他的小孩没有去额外的补习班，竟然也考取了JR，这样NUMBER ONE的精英中学。相当的牛呀。
我儿子在DENISTONE EASTpubliC SCHOOL 1月末要上Y2了.现在住在WEST RYDE和DENISTONE的交界处.以前是住在DENISTONE才报进的名.一直想看其它区的HOUSE,但是舍不得这个学校。我觉是这个学校好倒不是什么OC什么好成绩比例，是因为学校里面的老师很负责，很会和家长交流。同学之间关系也比较NICE，老师很会调节各种族孩子间的融合。我儿子年级里一半多是白人孩子，另一半，中国，韩国，印度等孩子居多，都挺玩得来的。我儿子的同学好像上补习班的不多，有的也多是华人孩子。
记得儿子上KG第一天去学校的时候，那时我儿子来澳洲才几个月，什么英语都不会，他是在国内长大的。我们也没和学校另外说明，但是我还是很担心我儿子无法适应。到了学校一看，我就放心多了，学校给每个进KG的孩子安排了一个高年级同种族同性别的哥哥或姐姐来陪伴，他们一对一的带着小的孩子去认识学校和各种设施，陪着他们玩，说话，这样全日程陪同了3天多，之后一个月，课前课后，上学放学前后，都是这些大孩子来把小孩子从父母手接过去送回来的。每个大孩子还把自已家的电话号码什么给小孩子的父母方便联系。我儿子很快就适应了学校，英语也学得很快。

纯粹听说，没有实地看过Waitara，Hornsby South
1、Waitara，Hornsby South据说学校比较小学生也少一些， Hornsby North学校算比较大的学生多；
2、Waitara的优势有OC班；
3、Waitara，Hornsby South对于Academic方面更注重一些；
4、Hornsby North学校搞的各类活动多一些，这个我孩子在里面，确实是这样。
Waitara的after school care 挺好的，非常nice。
waitara 的小学就很不错啊，口碑很好，学习抓得也紧，可是就是印度人比较多

Carlingford 的Murry Farm 据我的一个香港同事讲也是很不错的。他的二儿子在那里，说是觉得老师很好。和Carlingford 另外那个Carlingford west 都是好小学。
至少到目前还是，你只要住在它的学区范围就可以入学，不用提前很久很久，不过因为太多人申请，该校的入学申请提供的资料要求挺严。
不用面试，关键是要住在它的学区范围就可以入学,只是它的catchment有时会有变化，所以当然是住得离学校越近越保险喽
听说CARLINGFORD west都是亚洲学生，M FARM小学的亚洲学生少点
都有OC班吗？我听说Murray farm 的都考North rock 的OC 班呀。。从地域上用排除法来讲，如果North Rock有OC班，那么Carlingford west 就应该没有的。。

我朋友的女儿在那里读书。儿子班里也有几个同学以前是那个小学的。
没错，那里亚洲人多，功课比较紧。能考进OC的小朋友也不少。所以，如果从学业成绩来看，这个学校挺好的。
CARLINGFORD 几个小学，都是这个情况。
我小孩本来就在Carlingford West读的， 但是太多中国人了，90%都是；后来转道Murray Farm，帮里的中国人大概之有HALF 。但是，很多人说，Carlingford West的学习成绩比Murray Farm 好。
俺家老大就在Carlingford West, 学校里极少黄头发的，中国学生，韩国学生，包括印度学生都在外头补习，成绩在悉尼的确是数一数二的。据说每年考进精英中学的有7，80人（这个我也不知道是真是假），5年级满打满算4个班，120多人，其中一个A班，即自己的OC班，100%考进精英，而其他班实际上也不示弱。更有传言2，3 年前某一届参加精英中学考试的全部录取。这个学校考进OC班的到不是太多，每年也就7，8个人，而MURRY FARM 确是17，8个人。
两个都很好啊！就是Carlingford west华人更多些。
从学习上讲，carlingford比carlingford west差得很远，carlingford只是一个普通的小学，local相对多些，人数少，全校300多人；carlingford west非常重视学习，每年有七八成的孩子进精英（听说的，没有具体考证），当然华人孩子比例很高，学校大，各项活动挺多的，band和string乐队都有。两个学校都没有OC班。周围的学校Epping West, North Rocks, Murray Farm,Beecroft, Eastwood, Denistone East 都是非常不错的小学。相对于这些，carlingford就很一般了。
最近刚刚结束的NSW单词拼写大赛小学组的冠军就是出自Carlingford West，一个华裔小女孩

有八百多人，两个OC班，在Baulkham Hills 当地很有名。
Matthew Pearce据说跟North Sydney Demonstration使用同样的cirriculum. 这个学校在当地确实是首屈一指，不信只要在www.realestate.com.au上面查查就知道了，只要是在这个学校的catchment范围内的房子，肯定就会把“matthew pearce catchment”作为房子的优点之一列出来。
是在Baulkham Hills.因为学校范围一直在缩小，所以在学校范围之内的房子很少，好的就更少。即使这样，学校也有近900个孩子了。痛苦。。
不是只有oc class, 其他普通班的升学率也很高。maths成绩很强，所以才有那麽多学生。
Matthew Pearce附近的房子在整个ＢＨ来说不贵，因为太近seven hills，所以尽管这个学校不错，但属于baulkham hills房子相对而言便宜的区。另外大家好象比较看重有没有ＯＣ班来定义学校好不好，我个人不是特别赞同，有ＯＣ班固然好，但不代表学校校风好，没有ＢＵＬＬＹ等等。另外听人说相对而言，小学不是太重要，中学才最重要，我小孩没有那么大，所以不知道这种说法到底正确不？如果是这样，mattew Pearce附近的中学有个model farm high，听说前几年还行，但现在很不好。如果考不上selective high,上matthew Pearce小学的根据划区估计得上这个中学了。这样看也有不好的，所以大家得综合起来考虑才行啊。
Matthew Pearce Public School 有oc class 六年级考精英中学几率也很高。

口碑好的小学，总是能吸引更多好学生去。而好学生总会拿出好成绩（不排除在外补习的因素），让学校的口碑更好。良性循环啊！
我儿子以前在 THORNLEIGH WEST PUBLIC SCHOOL. 似乎在华人中名不见经传。我觉得还行。学校500多人，活动场地很大，设备齐全。各类活动也很丰富。我们在校5年，没有听到有 bully 和 种族歧视 事件。老师学生家长都和和气气，彬彬有礼的。儿子和同班10来个男生都算相处融洽（决定转学的时候他哭得眼泪嗒嗒滴）。感觉这里民风纯朴。
学生中，华人比例才不到10%。儿子的年级里，包括他就5个华人吧。（山中无老虎，所以我们老考第一，自我感觉相当良好。呵呵）唯一缺点就是：这学校的学生，考进OC和精英学校的人数，实在不多。

Pennant Hills primary 在我来之前，也是据说不错，这个学校对音乐和体育比较重视。相信这些鬼佬眼中的好学校和我们想要的acedemic 好的都不太一样。
PENNANT HILLS不错，我朋友住NORMANHURST，还特地让子女转去PENNANT HILLS 小学念书呢。
我查了下Pennant Hills Primary的年报，他们08年的学生数目在五百左右，经费盈余是148180.67，NAPLAN的成绩在中上，ICAS和APSMO的成绩看起来不错，属于上下吧。
遗憾的就是没有OC，而且在隔壁Beecroft的盛名阴影之下，呵呵。

精英中学升学率高，听说去年这个学校考取精英中学比例达33%，华人小孩要不上精英，要不拿到私校奖学金
若果按考试成绩算,南区近年最好的是carlton public,这几年考上oc 班每年都有4-5个,考上精英32-35个.你说的那二个学校是环境好,在鬼佬眼里的标准就是好.
今年这学校有学生超过１０００人，每个年级都有５，６个班，反观阾近的Penshurst Public School，全校不过２００学生，每个年级有１－１.５班（混合班）．人多有什么好处？得到政府的资源多，有较多的课外兴趣班选择，根椐中国人多的特点，每个星期有二节课教中文，人多了还可按学生程度分班，这样考取oc班和精英学校的人数就多,传出去口碑就好了,更多家长千方百计的通过各种渠道送子女入这好校,如此良性循环,就成为好学校了.根椐carlton public school 的地理位置,主要是在house区,不可能有这么多学生,家长们真是各显神通.
我是很偶然的买房子买到这个学校的校区内的，女儿上这个学校可以说是意外的惊喜。
和以前Campise的HarcourtPublic school 相比，这个学校好的不是一点点。孩子在这儿进步很大而且学得非常开心。学生中中东人并不算多，中国人，Macedonia, Greek占主流。
要说缺点，那就是afterschool care 的质量要比华人服务社的要差不少。
早晨乘火车上班时，能看到穿carlton public school校服的孩子下火车。
不过，我想无论哪个学校都会有不开心的孩子，不满意的家长，这也很正常。
呵呵, 本人也是几年前被一个前辈"骗"得别的从地方搬过来的,但我很庆幸自己的上当受骗,至于第三名的说法是我一次在学生早会上听到的信息,应该是当年学术上的一个汇总,但澳大利亚很少有真正的综合排名,所以若是误导了某些人,特此致歉.但近年来学校在OC和精英中学考试上的成绩应该是无法抹杀的吧,周围的KOGARAH等小学加起来的入取人数都不会超过这CARLTON小学的一半.(还有我孩子现在班级里没有一个中东人,以前倒是有几个,学校按学生比例开设的第二外语课程好像也没有中东的份?但这个不是最肯定)
以前在rockdale public school,来了这个学校后感觉确实是carlton的要好很多,唯一的一个缺点是费用不少...总是有很多花头要家长掏钱,其他的东西都很让人满意.

朋友的女儿就是在Oatley West读的小学，说虽然是公校，但是感觉非常象私校。后来朋友的女儿考取Hurstville Public的OC班。当年有1300多人报考OC班，但只录取60人。两个班级，一个班级30人。而且南区的OC班听说又是难上加难，因为华人小孩众多，大家平时都补课，所以考取OC班的难度比北区难很多。南区房子最贵的区也是这两个区了。
我想是吧。老外眼里好的标准和中国人不一样。不过OATLEY WEST听说确实不错。朋友的女儿除了成绩好，考取OC班，其他运动，钢琴，跳舞，画图，样样精通。
知道的。OATLEY WEST PUBLIC很好。很像私校，朋友的女儿曾经在那个学校读书。不知道你们家属不属于去那个学校的范围。
那个学校听说很好,我们公司一个经理的孩子在那读, 听说除了academic 好以外, 还有很多其他的活动. 住那一带的人华人不算多, 所以华人小孩在学校不多.
SYDNEY南区oatley west public school 听说不错，去看了看环境的确很好，但好像华人的小孩很少.

儿子回家了，带回来了让人瞠目结舌的消息，他们老师今天统计了一下OC考试的结果，全班有二十九个学生，去掉十一个还不知道成绩的，在已知成绩的十八个学生中，竟然有十四人拿到了OC班的OFFER，还有两个RESERVED。其中有两名学生也考到了儿子报的同一所学校.
看来昨天高兴过头了，儿子不过是他们班级的普通一员而已，他们班的oc升学率真让人不可思议。
我一直都在推荐Berala小学这个学校的前任校长被教育部提上去
我们也是听说这个小学教学质量好才决定买房在这里，其实这个区虽然距AUBURN近，可是很安静也很干净，还有火车站，现在正在考虑让儿子自己乘火车去上学。
理论上是一定要住在这里的，租房也可以，不过审查很严格，当时我们出具了四、份证明。
不过儿子班级也有几个不住在本区的，不知是后搬家了还是借用的地址。

1. 有OC
2.non-English 背景的仅一半左右。而denistone east 已经快90%了。你说这样的学校还怎么上。
3. 乐队／体育等突出。
4. 人数中等，孩子机会多。不象人数多的学校，上个兴趣班/入个体育队都很难。

CONCORD的中学和小学都还不错, 不能跟精英的比, 但是在普通学校里算是蛮不错的. 而且华人和西人的比例比较好, 不会都是华人, 但也不不会落单.

North Rock的小学也有OC 班，不过我一个在Cheltenham 住了很久的也是香港的同事说，那个OC班比较新，他不觉得好，他是非常推荐Beecroft primary 的。
好像听说MURRAY FARM的小学比NORTH ROCKS的好
这个是公认的, 不过就想知道north rocks public怎样, 想换房子到那边.
应该也不错，有OC班。好像澳洲孩子数量不少。
其实我真不了解，就知道这个地区没有什么黎巴嫩人，我儿子来澳州时间短，不到两年，前三个月在HOMEBUSH WEST,后来我发现不行，全说中文---然后就在这买房子了搬过来了，之前他是唯一说中文的孩子，现在好像多了两新来的中国孩子，学校很大，校舍还算新，至于OC班我也不太清楚，我不是太重视这个，觉得有OC校风就会好一点，就可以了
顺便说一下，全区八个橄榄球队，MURRYFARM 排名老八，上周五被NORTH ROCK 打了个30比0，我儿子触地得分两次共8分。
不过NORTH ROCK 排名第七
我看他们网站上有年度report，看起来非常好的，Academic非常强。
north rocks PS oc今年考上21个JR,10多个BH
NORTH ROCK 的 OC 班是非常厉害，但前提是先要考进它的OC班啊，听说NORTH ROCK的OC 是全省最难考的，要270左右才能进的，如果不是在OC班, NORTH ROCK的其他班就没有人考进精英中学的。
2009年Year 6的OC班有24位考入JR。
