8558累计12个月：申请600签证延期中一个重要情况

我妈是2020.9月底到澳洲，然后按照以前的18个月只能住满12个月说法是2020.9月底必须离开澳洲。但是我们2020.1月底去了bali两周然后回澳洲。
8月底申请了取消8503，但是按以前的理解，马上就要到期了，还没收到回复邮件，好急啊。
但查询VEVO发现多了一个VISA expire date（不是之前的must not arrive after哦）是2021.1。
然后在足迹上找寻各位大神的信息和成功案例。感谢。
下面这信息很重要，也就是说如果中途出境了，那么12个月的连续居住时间，从中途入境时间开始算12个月。
请大家再去移民局网站看看，看我理解是否正确。谢谢！！！！！

Condition 8558 (can’t stay in Australia for more than 12 months in any 18 month period)
This condition can’t be waived, however it does not prevent you from making a further visa application.

If you hold a visa with condition 8558, you should apply for a further visa before your current visa ceases.

Your visa will automatically cease if you are still in Australia at the end of your permitted stay period.

签证不会取消，如果18个月累积超过了12个月，只要单次连续居住没有超过12个月就行。
Your visa will not automatically cease if you have stayed for a cumulative period of more than 12 months in an 18 month period (as long as you did not exceed your stay period on any single visit).

谢谢啊  也就是只算连续居住时间。中途出境了，就看vevo的签证到期日，一般是中途入境＋12个月

是的，我按照18个月累计住满12个月这个旧规定在当时申请8503waive,移民局给我回信意思就是按照最近一次入境之日算起12个月，所以当时没有批复我的豁免申请，意思太早申请。
