You can get a Low Income Health Care Card if you satisfy the Low Income Health Care Card - Income Test and:

- are an Australian resident, or
- are in Australia and hold a non protected special category visa, or
- hold a visa subclass which entitles you to Special Benefit, and
- have served the 104 week newly arrived residents waiting period or hold a qualifying residence exemption.

不是低收入健康卡，有个联邦老年人健康卡，居住2年以后可以申请

联邦老年卡要65岁以上。Seniors card是六十岁。

Seniors card卡只有坐车的时候有优惠，还有一些商家可以打折，但是买药啥的就没用了。
联邦老年卡虽然要65岁以上，但是买药可以优惠。
低收入健康卡是给那些可以拿到centrelink津贴的人，父母付费过来是不能拿福利的，所以这个卡是拿不到的。

How To Apply for Seniors Card

A Seniors Card Application Form must be completed when applying for the Seniors Card. To be eligible, you must be a New South Wales permanent resident, aged 60 or over and work no more than 20 hours a week in paid employment.

The form must be witnessed by a Justice of the Peace to verify that you meet membership criteria.

Please note that as of 8 December 2006, it became a statutory requirement that all existing JPs be reappointed and assigned a new registration number. This new registration number must be included on all new member application forms. Visit the NSW Lawlink website for further information on this reappointment process.

You can obtain a NSW Seniors Card application form from one of the following locations:
